Beth Exley

Beth works in programming at Grand Union, an arts organisation based in Digbeth. Her weeks are varied – she gets to chat to artists, organise cupboards, make website pages, write exhibition texts, paint walls, cook jacket potatoes, and sometimes do a bit of curating. She’s like a handy man who wears a beret. Beth has an undergrad in History and a masters in Art History and Curation, and it was these academic pursuits that first brought her to Birmingham in 2017. She’s done brief stints in Malta and back at home in Nottingham since, but really, it’s the West Midlands that has her heart.
